Gay Cruising In Wolves

Hands up those of you not in the habit of going to the oracle query on google real or potential health problems, or their family members (from small disturbances of children). But what is the quality of information we find on the net?
World Health Organization or those of scientific societies, to name but one, the Italian Society of Pediatrics
. Many of these institutional sites, however, have targeted the doctor and often the most substantial in content and a dedicated area to which only registered doctors can access. Then there are the scientific journals, also available online. Usually the abstracts are free, but the article is bought. Even the scientific journals, however, consult with a physician and therefore for a person not expert in the field is not so easy to find and understand information.
The general public, and when engaging the web for information relating to health will end up on one of the many sites and blogs that deal with these issues. Ma .. is reliable? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. In some cases, these are real newspapers, but in any case the quality of information depends on the skills of people working there. For example, a good blog is to
Orthopedika
, born a short time but very nice and I like it because the articles are written with the help of a scientific advisor and is not something very common in sites that cater to the general public. Not everyone knows, in fact, that many times a columnist who writes about health is not a doctor but a professional writing; therefore needs to read up a lot, and ideally should consult an expert before writing a piece, often, for reasons of budget or other factors, has a chance to meet with a consultant.
Even among the mothers of the blog there is someone who is very well the issues related to health wellness. To me, for example, much like mom
imperfect, because
always cite sources and write clearly and accurately. For example, look at how complete this piece on toxoplasmosis
... and below you can find all the references.
I have deliberately not mentioned the sites I work with or with whom I worked (I do not want) because the purpose of this post is not to advertise myself.
So, finally, the network may be a good source of information, the web, however, as we regulars know it is a big melting pot where you can find everything. But when it comes to health, one must remember that article, although well written, can not in any way replace the advice of a doctor.
And you? You have the habit of looking for online health information? What is your opinion on this?
